Binntal + a stop-over in Isleten

Binntal + a stop-over in Isleten

Based on an invitation from Danski and Martina to celebrate their first wedding anniversary, Nadine and myself (kids-free time 🙂 ) travelled down to Wallis for a second time this year, after visiting Brig in spring.

Once again the stay in the hotel Ofenhorn was super cozy, with delicious food and perfect service. After doing a small trail run on my own in the morning of Saturday, we did a longer hike from Imfeld to the Geisspfadpass. A really beautiful fall scenery was awaiting us there!

On the way back home, Nadine and myself decided to do a stop-over in Isleten as the road between Sisikon and Brunnen was blocked. Next to the Beach House Isleten, about 50m away from the lake, there is a parking lot on which you can officially stay over night. It includes a ToiToi toilet and is located just in front of a climbing wall.
The dinner in the beach house was again really delicious, with a stunning view to the lake. No question, it should also be the place for our breakfast the day after. As this spot is really famous for kite and windsurfing, during the breakfast we could watch many surfers out there, yet another point to visit this place!
